Jonathan Roundtree, 40, of Savannah, GA, passed away on June 06, 2022 after a hard fought battle with lung cancer  

Jonathan was born on January 18th, 1982 to Mildred Ford and Malcolm Roundtree in Savannah, GA.  After graduating from Jenkins High School in  2000,  he went on to study Accounting at Georgia Southern University.


After graduation, he landed his first job as a Staff Accountant for Georgia Ports Authority for 17 years. In 2005, he met Aubrey Roundtree, and they wed in 2008, going on to have three children, Macy Roundtree (12), Jason Roundtree (10), and Miracle Roundtree (7). Jonathan was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned.  Jonathan was also a passionate Atlanta Hawks fan and could often be found in attendance at the games when he wasn’t at home.


Anyone who knew Jonathan knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. He is survived by two brothers, Jamaal Roundtree and Donovan Roundtree.


The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to First Baptist Church of Savannah.
