Jonathan Abuja, loving son of Michael Abuja and Mary (Abuja) Hixson, devoted brother to Amber Abuja, dedicated Grandson of Kenneth (Barbara) Abuja, beloved nephew to Judy Mareci and Charles Kallas, steadfast friend to many, was murdered on Sat April 9, 2016. Jonathan died a hero protecting his sister as he did his whole life.

His was a life lived thinking of others at all times; anyone who met him knows just how far he would go if he could make even a small difference in someones life.

If there is a given in life it is we are supposed to help each other. Jonathan epitomized this to the fullest. Jonathan was the definition of humble, never wanting recognition for any acts of kindness. His death leaves a huge hole in too many lives to count. His will be a life remembered as an example of what we should all strive for.
