It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of Jonathan "JJ" Marmet Jr. known to many simply as JJ or Junior. Born on the 18th of May 2022, his departure from this world came much too soon on the 9th of April, 2025, leaving a void that can never be filled.

Jonathan's memory will be forever cherished by his loving family; his mother, Georgia Morgan, his father, Jonathan Marmet, his grandmothers, Jennifer Morgan and Salina Smith, and his grandfather, Roger Marmet. He is also survived by his caring aunts and uncles: Alyssa Reid, Legend Newsome, Honor Newsome, Tenverlie Hopper, CJ Morgan, Sara Marmet, and Joseph Marmet. His cousins, Arabelle Aber, Sam Morgan, and Greyson Marmet will also fondly remember him. He has many more extended family such as great grandparents, second and third cousins who will forever cherish their memories with him. 

Dearest Jonathan, known for his sweet and caring personality, was a ray of sunshine in every life he touched. Although he may no longer be with us in the physical world, his spirit and the love he shared will continue to warm the hearts of those who were blessed to have known him.

A Celebration of Life service for Jonathan "JJ" Marmet Jr. has been scheduled for 4:00 PM on the 16th of April, 2025 at the Fay Lake Wilderness Park. It will be a moment for us all to come together, to share our memories of JJ and to celebrate the love and joy he brought into our lives.

He may not be with us in person, but his memory and his spirit will forever be in our hearts. Our love for him is everlasting. Rest in peace, our dear Jonathan.
