Jon's obituary
Jon was one of a kind and will be missed by many family members and friends who knew him. He was a man who loved to talk, share stories (often hilarious ones!), and banter with anyone around him. He loved to joke around and have fun. He was a proud Native American and enjoyed sharing and teaching his culture to others. He loved animals and enjoyed being outdoors. In his younger years, he often went camping and liked to hunt.
Jon served his country in the navy during the Vietnam War. He held many different jobs during his life, to name a few he was a DJ, a police officer, and spent time working with other Veterans. He devoted time to his passions, he loved art, both appreciating it and creating it, often in a surrealistic style. He adored the work of Salvadore Dali. Jon was also very into music, he loved listening to a wide variety of genres and also enjoyed playing his favorites on the guitar.
Jon is survived by his daughter Naomi and her fiance Raymond Jacques, his granddaughter Lily A. Bissonnette, his close nephew Jesse Fernandes, sister, Shelley Giuseppi, and her husband, and many other cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and acquaintances. He is predeceased by father, Owen Warren, mother, Gladys Warren (Cuzzone), his 3 brothers, David, Steven, and Gary Warren, sister, Beverly Dubois (Warren), and many friends he'd lost too soon.
No funeral or memorial will be held at this time. A gathering for family and friends will be planned for a time when it is safe to gather and celebrate Jon's life together.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made through a Go Fund Me that was set up to help defray the final expenses. The link is as follows: gf.me/u/yzicmr
