I really enjoyed working with Jon; he knew his stuff, he didn't shy away from a tough conversation, and he was always honest and straightforward. He brought a great balance of levity and efficiency to work, which is a hard combination to master. Always said hello, always available to answer a question. He will be sorely missed.

My deepest condolences to Jon's family; you are in  my thoughts.

Jon was my mentor, coworker, and friend.  I am forever grateful for his endless patience and the wisdom he shared.  Whether it was teaching me about spare parts or explaining the finer points of our 401(k), he always had time to guide me.  His advice helped shape my career, and his friendship enriched my life.  He will be missed.  Rest in peace Jon.
My deepest condolences to Jon’s Family and Friends

Jon was one of the good things about working at Northrop. Always a pleasure to be around. Jon was very knowledgeable about machine parts which was a great help to all that worked with him in maintenance.

Easy going, funny are a few of the things I will remember.  Jon, my friend, you will be missed.  God Bless You.

I've known Jon since he started at NG.  We were initially rivals since he was in Facilities and I was in Environmental and our roles often presented us with competing priorities but we always worked it out.   We soon became long lasting good friends often joking about the "good ole" days and wondering how anything got done these days with all of the "new systems" in place.  We had so many good times like Facilities ergo exercises in 2008, Earth Day in 2011, and Phil's retirement in 2011(photos).  Some of my fondest memories of Jon was of us riding around the facility in the golf cart and listening to Jon laugh.  His laughter was so infectious you couldn't help but ending up laughing so hard you ended up in tears.  Now my tears are of such sadness for my dear dear friend, Jon, who I will miss so much.  We were more than co-workers.  We were good friends.  My heart is broken again at the loss of another friend who was too young to move on the next life.  I miss you Jon and will continue to pray for you in eternity.  Your friend always, Jon, Julie.
Truly saddened by the news of Jon's passing. I worked with Jon for over 25 years and forged a friendship with him that went beyond work colleagues. We had deep discussions about life, politics, parenting, and so many other things. He was a really great guy and helped me out so many times over the years when he could have easily declined and I would have understood. Many here at NG will truly miss him! My sincere condolences to the family. May you rest in peace good friend.

We are deeply saddened by this loss. His laughter was contagious—I never had a conversation with Jon without laughing. He was an easy-going person who was always willing to help and make himself available.

He will be greatly missed. May he rest in God’s peace, and may his memory be eternal.

Please accept our heartfelt condolences on behalf of everyone at Mallory Safety and Supply.

My condolences on your loss. I worked with Jon when at NG and my group was moving from Bldg 169 to Bldg 73 many years ago. I enjoyed working with him a lot. May he rest in peace.

Jon told me about the drone quad copter that he had been working on for several weeks and he went to a local park in town to test it out for the first time. He turned on his computer and hit the “go” button and the drone flew straight up into the sky never to be seen again. Sad story but when he told us about it he thought it was pretty funny and made us all laugh until we cried.

He was a good hearted person and had a great sense of humor My deepest condolences to his Family and he will be missed.

I was saddened to discover that my colleague passed away.  Jon was a good man with a good heart and meant well.  I will miss having him at the office, but his legacy will live on and never be forgotten.  May you find comfort in your memories and may he now rest in eternal peace.
