The nearly improbable story of Jon David Faeth began with his birth, April 5th, 1978 in Tiffin, Ohio. This was generally regarded as a good thing at the time. He spent his early years avoiding the pitfalls of blending in with polite society and generally causing as much consternation amonst his peers as possible. His earliest attempts at assimilating with humanity included taking on such roles as 'Gas station attendant' and 'Pizza Jerk', forshadowing his later love for the theater. Jon David's sorcerous mastery over the forces of creation was revealed through board game design, birthing such timeless classics as Dicefest, The Great Green Gorf, and Go Goblin Go. Jon David was a staunch supporter of goblinkind and goblin rights issues throughout his life. Though much conversation has been had concerning a potential biopic, legal has informed us that after working out all of the potential rights issues with the Lego corporation, Disney/Pixar, Python (Monty) Picture LTD, and the Douglas Adams estate would result in a diluted and uninspiring narrative, so it was scrapped.

Sadly, and unexpectedly, Jon David story came to an end April 18, 2026.

He is survived by his partner, Dawn Budd of Lima; his mother Linda Wotjko of Vermillion; his two brothers, nieces and nephews. A celebration of his life will be held at Tiffin Hedges Boyer Park @ The Moose shelter ; Tuesday April 28th from 2 - 6pm.
