We are immensely saddened to announce that Jom passed away suddenly on July 15th, 2022. Jomuel Yumul, born on September 21, 2007, was a gifted, bright, and unique soul that left us too soon. This loss is completely unexpected and our family mourns his passing greatly.

Jom was kind & a joy to be around. He enjoyed movies & good food. He was absolutely in love with music, frequently letting us know that when he grew up, he was going to be a music producer. Jomuel had a large group of friends and family who loved him unconditionally, including:  his parents ; Manuel & Josefina Yumul, his brothers ; Joshua Yumul & Leon Dacanay, his sister; Ysa Yumul Dacanay, his nephews; Yves & Enzo Dacanay & his grandmother Jesusa Cruz. 

Memorial date will be held Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Greenwood Funeral Home, 350 Monroe Ave Ne, Renton, Washington.  If you are unable to join us in person, we will be having the service livestreamed:

We will miss the music talk, (did you know Mi Gente by J balvin was played at 104 beats per minute?)  Thanks to Jom, we now all know that. We will miss the jokes - have you heard about the three humped camel? It's pregnant. (his favorite joke.)
