We are saddened to announce the passing of Joli Anne Cross of Vestavia Hills, Ala. on the 13th of September, 2023 after a decade long battle with Breast Cancer. Born on the 23rd of January, 1970 to James and Betty Cross, Joli led a memorable life, filled with music, love, and a shimmer of pink - her favorite color.

Loving mother to six beautiful children, her warmth and guidance will be remembered and cherished by her sons Theodore Badami (30 of Vestavia Hills, Ala.) and Dorian Badami (27 of Ocean Springs, Miss.), her daughters Cassidy Badami Skriba (29 of Spanish Fort, Ala.), Zildjian Badami (23 of Kennesaw, Ga.), Gianna (16), and Carmandeigh (13), along with her three grandchildren Stetson, Vivian, and Jameson, extended family, friends, and all who knew her.

Joli's passion for music constantly filled the air in her home, with her singing the tunes of the Dixie Chicks, her favorite band, being a common refrain. This love will continue to resonate in the hearts of her loved ones, serving as a comforting reminder of her spirit. A characteristic trait that defined Joli was her love for color, specifically the color pink. It was a reflection of her vibrant life, filled with love, laughter, and a zest that was infectious to all around her.
