Johnny Hayes was always there for me even though he had his own family life and spiritual responsibilities. I will always give some credit to him for having a hand in shaping me spiritually.
I will never forget the many memories made of our families visiting together and traveling together to the conventions. He always made sure our family and another family had a way there, lodging and food. I think I may have heard him say that he worked extra to do that. That is the kind of man he was. Always stepping up and stepping in. Truly valued in many eyes, already missed but left an example worthy to imitate.
