Johnny Dale McCallister, 43, was hit and killed by a CSX train.

Johnny Dale McCallister, 43, passed away July 16, 2012. He went to be with the Lord.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Clara Bell McCallister; his father, Dale Darius McCallister; and his brother, Dale James McCallister.

He is survived by a daughter, Breauna McCallister; son, Blake McCallister of Boone County; sisters, Christina McCallister, Amber McCallister and Judy Harmon; and brothers, Darius McCallister and Roy McCallister.

Johnny had a rough life ever since his mother passed away in September 1992. Johnny, our brother, will be missed and always loved.

Service will be 11 a.m. Monday,  July 23, at Handley Funeral Home, Danville, with Brother Brian Sowards officiating. Burial will follow in Holstein Cemetery, Ashford.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
