Johnnie Wayne Willis was born September 7th, 1949 to the late James and Lucy Willis. Johnnie was born and raised in Romeo, MI. He spent his childhood on the family farm with his siblings. Johnnie joined the army in 1967 and later became a Vietnam veteran. He met the love of his life Mary Grace Mattucci in 1970 and quickly married in 1971. They shared three children. Johnnie and Mary moved to Florida in the late 80's where he spent nearly 30 years working at the most magical place on earth, Walt Disney world. He enjoyed many jobs there, including driving the ferry to and from the park. He truly lived life to the fullest. On March 30th 2019 Johnnie lost his battle with Cancer at the Oviedo medical center.
Johnnie is predeceased by his loving wife of 38 years Mary Grace (Mattucci) Willis, parents James and Lucy Willis, siblings Daniel Willis (brother) Ronnie Willis (brother) and Shiela (Willis) Mcqulin (sister).
Johnnie is survived by Richard Willis (brother), children Keith Willis, Johnnie Mattucci, and Dora Mattucci.
And his 3 loving grandchildren Jordan, Christian, and Mary Grace.
Memorial services will be held in Michigan at a later date.
