Johnny's obituary

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Johnnie "Johnny" Apodaca on March 2, 2026. Better known to friends and family as Johnny or (Caveman) he was born in 1968, his vibrant life spanning nearly 58 splendid years.

Johnny was an individual of many passions, taking delight in the simple pleasures of life. His love for food was evident in his favorite snacks, sodas, and chips. As for music, the electrifying tunes of ACDC were Johnny's all-time favorite. A fervid supporter of the Raiders and WWE he found joy in the thrill of sports. Relaxing in the world of film, watching movies was another recreational activity that Johnny held dear.

More than his preferences and interests, it was Johnny's virtues that made him so loved and memorable. An honest, kind, and caring individual, he has left behind a void that no one could fill. His legacy of kindness and compassion will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Johnny is survived by his nieces, Juanita Lugo, Bianca Apodaca and Mariah Apodaca. His sister Dolores Apodaca and Diane Apodaca, his brother David Apodaca, and his nephew Martin Contreras JR. He was predeceased by his parents,Nellie and Cloroveo Apodaca.

He will be greatly missed. We mourn this loss, but hold on to the cherished memories of the times we spent with Johnny. His love, laughter, kindness, and compassion will forever remain etched in our hearts.
