John was the brother I never knew until his passing but his passing opened up a new relationship with his daughter and her family which in turn has been a tremendous source of joy and blessings of knowing him through them. Lots of love Woodalls....Kathleen Arendt

I first want to say the world will be less of a place without John. He was a very good friend of mine.
The story is John came by my house one day as getting ready to fry up some fish we had caught eariler in the week. I had just put my cast iron skillet on the stove to start heating it up, before I put the oil in. Anyway he came walking though the kitchen. He looks at the pan and before I could stop him, he left five finger prints in the bottom of my pan. I know it hurt so I said " I bet you don't do that again" He smiled and did his best to cover the pain.
I loved John as I would love my brother. I regret not following though with a few attempts to locate him. He was a person that always would put a smile on my face. I will indeed miss you.

Aunt Sue,
I'm so sorry to hear about John. It really breaks my heart. I'll keep you and the rest of the family in my prayers. I know God has his arms around you at this time and I know John was welcomed by so many loved ones that made the journey before him. Please let me know if there's anything I can do for y'all.
