John Allan Wiese, 80, of Saint Joseph, MO passed away August 25, 2023 at his home.

Born in San Jose, California, John and family moved to Des Moines, Iowa where he spent his childhood and attended Roosevelt High. He then enlisted in the military – spending 4 years with the Air Force. Through the military John was able to attend the University of Nebraska Lincoln and Southern Colorado State which sparked his love for all things Colorado. John was a free spirit and spent 30 years in the Estes Park area where he met his first wife Kendra. John moved to St. Joesph, Missouri where he worked for the city of St. Joesph for over 10 years and met Sheila, his wife of 23 years and had his son John W Wiese.

John was a loving father, a great friend and a great influence to most. He enjoyed nature, the ups and downs of being a Denver Bronco fan and focused on his connection with the earth and leaving as little of foot print as possible.

Survivors include: son, Steve Wiese; ex-wife, Sheila Wiese; son, John Wiese; brother, Michael Wiese; and sister, Diane Fisher.
