What were John's favorite ways to spend free time?

John Walters, the man who always had a smile to give and something funny to say! We spent many days together watching Jesse and Darren race. We spent many times together at hotels near the track. There are too many funny times to mention but the one that I will forever remember is when we all went to Las Vegas to race at the MGM Grand. That trip was one fabulous memory after the other. Sometimes we had so much fun that we forgot we were there for racing business! The other thing I must mention now that it has been a bit since John's passing is that he raised a generous, good hearted, loving and responsible son in Jesse. There are some people who come into your life for a season and some people who come into your life for a reason; I believe that John and Jesse were more than merely friends, they are our family. I will forever remember John and mention his name every chance I get. We will never forget him. And Jesse, always know that we are a phone call away. We love you more than those words could express. And when you call, you will always be answered with what do you need? When and where do you need us?! My husband is battling cancer. The first motocross racer to reach out was Jesse. Character and loyalty is everything and Jesse has turned into one Great Man. It has been our pleasure to know this family. There isn't enough time in the day to express our gratefulness that God brought us together. God Bless. Love Always!!! Doug, Pam, DJ, and Darren Walsh
