His hands were skilled in the art of woodwork finishing, a craft that he approached with precision and care. John found solace in the great outdoors, often going camping and fishing with family and friends. These moments in nature were treasured times of bonding and reflection for him. John was a long time member of the Potterville United Methodist Church where he served in various roles including serving as a Trustee and Chair of the Administrative Council.

Above all, John loved his family. They were the center of his universe, the core of his very being. He approached every day with a loving heart, always ready to offer support, share a laugh, or impart wisdom. His love was a guiding force, touching all aspects of his life and leaving an indelible mark on those he met.
