John's obituary
Boating was a beloved pass-time that John shared with his family and friends. John loved the St. Croix River and everyone who spent time on the river with him created lifelong memories. All three of John’s children carry his love of boating and now the cherished memories of their boating adventures together.
John had a talent and strong love for restoring old cars which more often than not earned him awards for best in his class and best in the NHRA show. John’s love for restoring old cars began at a young age and included his mother’s sewing skills, she helped him reupholster his first sports car. Over the years John was able to bring life back to many old cars with pride.
John is survived by his wife Donna Vogstrom, Carol Vogstrom, his first wife and the mother of his 3 children. His children, Celeste Spooner, Eric Vogstrom, Paul Vogstrom and grandchildren Olivia, Ava, Gavyn, Rylan, and Brodyn. John is also survived by his sister Carol Juelfs and many loving nieces, nephews and dear friends.
John was preceded in death by his parents, brother Dick, and his second wife, Barbara Fredine.
