John's obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of John "Jack" Uhlir announce his passing on April 23, 2024. Born on December 1, 1949, John preferred to be called by his given name, but was endearingly known as Jack by those who knew him best.

John's personality was best described as witty and hardworking, always lighting up the room with his humor and dedication. He was a man who believed strongly in putting his family first, a trait he passed on to those who came after him.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Jessica Craig, who will remember him as a dedicated father and role model. But one of John's greatest accomplishments, the one he held closest to his heart, was his cherished grandchildren. Their existence was a testament to his belief in family and love. He is also survived by his son, Matthew, and his wife, Pamela

A memorial service to celebrate John's life will be held on June 30, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Riverside Presbyterian Church.

In his passing, we remember not only John's wit and hard work but also his capacity for love and joy. He left behind a strong family and a legacy of putting them first. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, even as his spirit lives on in the laughter and love he brought into our lives.
