Background
My dad, John, was the most kind hearted, friendly, loving person- just an overall amazing soul who touched so many people’s lives.
In 2022, he had his first open heart surgery for a rare birth defect. He was a true miracle. Between then and now; he was still suffering effects of his medical conditions and went in for another open heart surgery May of 2025. It was a wild ride, he fought hard for himself and his family and his friends, but continued to have severe medical setbacks.
John Anthony Torres III passed away at 1:20 AM on July 17, 2025. Although we knew there was risks with his procedure, we never would have anticipated everything he went through that ultimately took him away from us.
We are asking for help from all of our family and friends and all of the people my dad had the opportunity to connect with to raise money for his cremation and End of Life celebration. Anyone who knew him would know he was always down for a good party surrounded by all the best people. We want to give him the best celebration and opportunity for people to tell us about all the great times they’ve had with him.
If you are able to donate, we would greatly appreciate the help. We will keep everyone posted on dates and times and locations as they become available. Contribute
