Background
On November 2nd Holy Mass was held in Sierra Leone in honor of John's 21-year commitment to the kids and social workers he befriended there.
At age eleven John sold soap and candles to help raise money for survivors of the horrific Diamond War in Sierra Leone, W. Africa. For the next 20 years he helped collect toys, clothing, food and water for SLR shipping containers. John spoke with and said prayers for the grateful regional social workers in three communities.
