Jill and family,

John Cook, Cookie, to some, had a way of making me smile.  I have many great memories of working with him on Lightning hockey games mostly.  He was there with me in the very beginning of my sport tv career in the early 2000s.  Sitting along side John as his home TD, he kept things interesting but steady, fun but under control.  I remember one time we named the tape machine "This, that and the other."  That cracked me up and made going to replays a little confusing frankly.  He had a sense of humor that was unmatched.  I know I didn't get to spend time with him during the last part of his life but he was a good man and he will be missed.

Love always,

Kat Orr
