John W. Shearer
YORK – John W. Shearer, 80, entered into rest early Friday, October 27, 2023 at UPMC Memorial. He was the loving husband of Cathy J. (Blubaugh) Shearer. The couple celebrated 51 years of marriage on August 26, 2023.
Born March 7, 1943 in Harrisburg, he was a son of the late Robert D. and Josephine E. (Boova) Shearer.
John graduated in 1961 from Newport High School and in 1965 from Shippensburg University …
