Rev. Dr. John Robert Shear, 66, of St. Louis, MO, left us while surrounded by family on February 24, 2023 from Stage 4 Esophageal Cancer. He resided in the Soulard neighborhood with his wife where they enjoyed a lively community with their dog Duke.
He served in the Presbyterian Ministry for 28 years, specializing in young adult and youth development and was also Professor of Religious Studies in the bi-state collegiate areas. While in the …
