It is with great sorrow and deep respect that we announce the passing of John Schall, who left us on September 18, 2024. Born in 1955, John lived a life full of adventure, love, and learning.

John was a man who made every moment count. His greatest joys in life were his daughters and his grandchildren; a legacy he held close to his heart. His beloved daughter, Michelle Mcdowell, remained by his side throughout his life, providing him with unwavering love and support. In 2019, his joy multiplied when he welcomed his first grandchild, and again in 2021 with the arrival of his second grandchild.

John was an avid fisherman. He found pure bliss in the serenity that accompanied a quiet day on the water. It seemed as though every trouble was forgotten with each cast of the line. Through this beloved pastime, John learned the importance of patience, perseverance, and tranquility, qualities he would go on to embody in his everyday life.

One of the heartfelt lessons he sought to pass on was to "travel and live life to the fullest". He held a firm belief in the transformative power of new experiences and strived to lead by example in this regard. His adventurous spirit and zest for life were infectious to those around him.

John Schall leaves behind a legacy of strength and courage. He lived his life with an unwavering sense of conviction and bravery, inspiring many who crossed his path. His lasting impression on his family, especially his grandsons, will forever be of a man who stood strong in the face of adversity, and lived his life with a deep and passionate courage.

John's loss will be deeply felt by all who knew him. His memory and lessons will live on in the hearts of his loved ones, especially his grandsons who will miss him terribly. Our hearts go out to his family during this difficult time, and we will hold onto the precious memories, words of wisdom, and strong legacy that John Schall has left us with.
