John's obituary
John David Russell of Shelton, Washington passed suddenly on September 7, 2022.
JD was a master Fiberglasser. He started fiberglassing in Detroit in his early twenties. He worked on train cars, boats, ships, yachts, campers, etc. If it had fiberglass JD has fixed it. He could even give you direction on how to fiberglass over the phone without seeing the problem. He was that good.
John David had a special way with dogs. If you ever saw JD, his dog was always with him and never on a leash. He said they were too restricting. He had all breeds over the years but mutts, stray or rescue, were his favorite. He would bring them home and change their lives forever for the better. They ate steak and lobster, whatever he ate they ate and sometimes even in restaurants.
Best Uncle Award was given long ago to their "Uncle Buck" for all the things he taught them, from driving lessons right down to how to walk.. there was no better Uncle or Great Uncle. So many jokes, laughs, and happy tears were shed when John David was home.
He was greeted in Heaven by his parents with all his beloved dogs.
Entombment at a later date
