John "BIG JOHN" Roosevelt Wright Jr. was born on October 22, 1973 to The Late John Sr. and Chester Mae Wright. John was the only son of 5 children. John's life ended on October 30, 2022.

John attended Whitestation High School then later joined The Memphis Job Corp where he graduated.

John was a Gentle Giant that smile would light up any room. He loved his sisters and family dearly!

John's Mechanical Skills were inherited from his father The Late John R Wright Sr. There was nothing

"BIG JOHN" couldn't fix. He was more than a Handy Man, he was The Man! BIG JOHN was a hardworking, diligent,self driven strong King that was generous with his love.

After becoming an adult BIG JOHN met the love of his life The Late DaMeka Williams and the two were married for 28yrs.

He leaves to cherish his memories. His daughter Mia. A grand daughter Aislinn aka Puff. His four Sisters These Marshall(Demetrius) Cynthia Wright-Partee, Vanessa Wright- Jones(Andre*) and Evonya Wright(Charles). A sister/cousin Keevy Collier. Four close friends he called Brothers Marlon Partee, Ray Fergerson, David Freeman and Melvin Harris. A host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Aunts, Uncles and close friends.
