I worked with Dr. Rollins at Clark AB in 1988. I was only 21. I loved him! He once told me right before he was leaving the AF, “Roseman, if you ever want to come to Va, you have a job with me!” I am now 60, and was thinking about him as I have many times over the years and discovered his obituary.  He was an awesome person and I know God has welcomed him with arms wide open.
I am so sorry to know about this, We made friends at the Veterans Home, He and his daughter played pool with my little granddaughters.  He was so special, so kind, loved life.  My heart breaks for all of his family.  Reta Moss
I am so sorry this morning to hear of the ending in this life of this powerful friend. I can’t quite grasp it really. We served together at Trinity and it was a fine privilege to stand with him and that whole group. Love to his dear family. Blessings!

On behalf of the entire USAF Academy Class of 1974, I would like to offer our sincerest condolences on Mike's passing. Mike and I were close at the Academy as we were on the Class Council together...typical of Mike's stellar character that he was chosen to represent his squadron and for him to try to make things better for all.  Mike was just the best friend to us all, with all the loyalty and empathy such a term entails. I am certain Mike's family and friends will treasure their memories of him, as do his brothers and friends from the Academy. You will all be in our thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Ed Whalen, Class President
My heartfelt condolences for your loss.  Mike and I were classmates at the Academy, and we were in the same flight throughout basic training and all of Doolie year.  Mike was a wonderful friend, and he excelled in all he did.  May God bless and comfort you and your family.

Dear Family

I'm so sorry for the loss of your wonderful father and brother.   I know he will be missed by all but just know he is no longer suffering with the terrible disease that he had been suffering with for so long.   My prayers are with you all

Dearest cousin, Your light shines bright in heaven's garden. Your love filled so many with love, joy and hope. I've no doubt you were welcomed home with healing hugs. We will miss you, but I know you are now healed, and will always be near your beautiful family.  Bless you Mike.
Praying for peace and comfort for Dr. Mike's family. I had the privilege of meeting him this fall and giving him space to love on some horses by grooming, grazing, taking them for a walk. He wanted to know each horse's life story,  and he told me many stories of his polo and farm adventures.  He wasn't content to groom the horse by himself, he wanted the medical personnel and his personal caregivers to experience it with him as well. I really enjoyed his visits and am thankful that I had the privilege of sharing the time with him.
We are so sorry to hear of Mike’s passing. Sending love, hugs, and prayers for the family.

Being Dr. Mikes giver for the majority of this last year has been nothing short of powerful. The love he had for his Lord and savior, children, family, West Virginia, and every person in his life is something to be admired. Through all of the battles he went through till the end he never EVER forgot about his loved ones and the memories he held dear.

I know I will never meet a majority of people that were in close with Mike. But if there’s any message I can give those people about him is this.

He loved so many

He cared for so many

He held onto so many memories up until the end. We spent hours upon hours together reminiscing those times in his life from a young child to his time as a grandfather.

He only ever wanted the best for everyone in his life and everyone he touched.

You all in his life from the start to the end were always present in his mind and he never forgot about you

Rest in Peace, Dr Mike

My condolences to Mike's family. I first met Mike when [ describe how you know each other ] and we would often [ include common activities together ].
