John's obituary
John Henry Raines Jr. passed away surrounded by family at home on June 24th of 2023. He battled small-cell lung cancer for nearly a year.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Amy Lynn (Millington) Raines, (Oldest Son) John Henry Raines III, (Daughter) Promise Marrie Raines, and (Youngest Son) Gabriel Lynn Raines.
John was laid to rest in
Oak Hill Cemetery
797 Memorial Drive,
Griffin, Ga. 30224
Thursday, June 24th of 2023.
Brother & Sisters:
Anna Raines-Millington, Nancy Raines Shelton, and Russel Rollen.
Closest In-Laws:
Michael and Kdee Millington, Charles Millington, George Millington Jr., Sheila Quackenbush, and George Millington Sr.
Other Survivors:
John is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
