John's obituary

My dear husband, John Quincy Adams III passed on December 10, 2022. The day before, I happened to take a little time off and joined him in a sunny spot outdoors -- his favorite place to pray. We laughed and talked, just savoring our companionship, our individual healing ministry, and shared peace. Then, the next morning, he left quickly. A practitioner friend describes this as "the princely way" out of the mortal experience -- an expression that gives me great comfort.

I'll send further news at an appropriate time. For now, I wanted to gift you with this video (https://youtu.be/319VJzrMl9s)

If you go to 8:30, you can watch JQA describe the relationship between spiritual man and the mortal experience in three minutes using his classic props, a hula hoop and a bucket. Many of you have heard him give this lecture in person. Led to address death and grief more thoroughly, JQA wrote this beautiful Journal article in 2012 (https://journal.christianscie…)

So grateful for JQA/John’s many contributions to the Christian Science movement as a former lecturer, writer for the periodicals, Christian Science Practitioner and Teacher. We are all blessed.

Sending love to all, and gratitude for our enduring friendship,

Marivic and The Adams Family
