I worked with JF at WOBR on the Outer Banks many years ago, we called him JIF, like the peanut butter. He was a really great guy and a great DJ too, just nice and friendly to all the folks there. Why do the good guys leave us so young????

My thoughts and prayers are with JF’s family for loosing someone too soon. So many memories and sad to loose someone I’ve known for over 40 years after meeting JF 1st year at UVA and then our continued friendship as DU Brothers. I will truly miss his wit and humor (dry and sometimes sarcastic but always funny), his love of sports and music, and just hanging out when our paths crossed to catch up and talk about anything - family, friends and HOO events.

Smile on Brother - I will miss you.
