John Edward Pinegar passed from this life peacefully at home with his family on Sept 25, 2020. He was laid to rest at Katy Magnolia Cemetery in Katy, TX. Born to James Edward Pinegar and Margorie Monical on June 20, 1933 in Grenola, KS. John was Valedictorian of Grenola High School and graduated with Honors from Tulsa University. John retired from Texaco Oil Company after 30 years of service.

John was a devote family man, married to the love of his life Patricia for 60 years. He raised 3 children, 5 grandchildren and 3 Great-grandchildren. He moved to Houston Texas in 1964 and then to Katy in 1977 where he was a long standing member of Katy First Baptist Church. He served in many capacities at the church and especially loved his Sunday school class. John was an avid craftsman and used his upbringing on the family farm as he enjoyed his yard work and taking care of his home.

John was proceded in death by his father James and mother Margorie and an Aunt NormaDean. He is survived by his loving wife Patricia, 3 children; David, Stephen and Linda. Five grandchildren; Stephanie, Jennifer, Johnathon, Taylor and Hayley. Also 3 Great-grandchildren; Hunter, Ezra and William.

Grave side services where held at Katy Magnolia Cemetery on October 2, 2020.
