John Peter Gregg at rest on August 3rd 2022. Beloved husband to Shirley for 38 years. Loving father to John (Rebeca), loving stepfather to Salvatore (Leona) Matiello, SuzanneMatiello. Proud grandfather to Laura, Conor, Anna. Treasured brother and brother-in-law to George (Dolores), Thomas, the late Arthur (Peggy).John is preceded in death by his cherished parents Arthur and Gladys and by siblings Elisabeth, Lucy, Marilee and Ruth. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Jonny taught high school for 30 plus years at Elmwood Park High School. John was an accomplished woodworker. His home in Elmwood Park was filled with his many projects. John was a proud U.S. Navy veteran. His final resting place is in the Military cemetery in Phoenix Arizona.
