I am surprise to learn of John's passing! I'm feeling sad. John was not only my friend but a classmate at MSU. I always remember him chasing me around the campus, him trying to get my term paper so he could read it - after I told him I got an A+. Silly memories. John, I know you're having fun with the ancestors!!

I attended High School with John. It was more than a decade later we were 're-acquainted' in Boulder Colorado. 

John and I were pall bearers at funeral and we both kept remarking how we thought we knew each other. 

A couple days later I approached John, who happened to be the MC for the memorial, and asked him where he had attended High School. He looked back at me and said, ' Where did YOU go to high school, Michael?'

John figure it out first! I enjoyed our friendship, and though we did not keep in touch over the years after I left Colorado, I have nothing but fond memories of you John. Thank you.

I just learned of John’s death this week and was shocked and saddened. I have fond memories of John. First met him in grad school at MSU. He fed me supper the first week since I didn’t know anyone there. He and Bob knew how to work a room more than anyone I’ve ever know. I will miss his joyous self.
