John's obituary

John Larkin Nicholson, born on January 7, 1942, in Houston, Texas, passed away on January 18, 2004, at the age of 62 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He honorably served in the Marine Corps, dedicating years of his life to the service of his country. Following his military career, John transitioned into the civilian sector, where he excelled as a nationally recognized Bank President, demonstrating leadership and commitment to the community of Henderson Texas where he lived with his wife Donna and son Guary on their cattle ranch. John was passionate about riding horses, farming, and traveling—interests that brought him great joy and fulfillment throughout his life. John later lived in Las Cruces New Mexico after falling in love with the mountains there. He is survived by his son Guary Nicholson and daughter Jennifer Nicholson. 

The arrangements for John were handled by Graham Mortuary in Las Cruces, New Mexico. His life will be remembered and celebrated by all who knew him, honoring both his military service and his contributions to local business and community activities that he was so passionate about.
