It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of John Fredrick Moody Jr. on October 20, 2023, at the age of 55 in Elmira, NY. John was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Phyllis Moody, father, John Moody Sr., daughter Amanda Moody, and grandson, Terral Hal.

John was a highly skilled mechanic with a passion for motorcycles and animals. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and spending quality time with his friends and family.

John is survived by his son Shawn Elliott, sisters Pamela and Mary Moody, brothers James and Tony Moody, and his six beloved grandchildren; Cameron, Nathan, Janiah, Kia, Aliya, and Terrell. He is also survived by his extended family and many friends.

As we mourn his loss, we take comfort in the memories he left behind. "Your presence I miss, your memory I treasure, loving you always, forgetting you never" - until we meet again.
