John's obituary
He was born May 17, 1981 in Los Angeles, California to Glenda (Walton) Mingo.
John was a long time resident of Palmdale, was a 1999 graduate of Littlerock High School, and had recently moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to work. John enjoyed watching movies, car shows, basketball, camping, shooting various guns, and spending time with friends and family.
John is preceded in death by his mother Glenda, just one week before him; grandparents: George Mingo, Fred Walton, and Marie Walton-McIntosh.
He is survived by his two daughters: Alyssa Smith of Long Beach, California and Mya Mingo of Palmdale, California; Brother: Terrill Jackson of Santa Clarita, California; Sister Ashley Mingo of Antlers, Oklahoma; Nephews: Tyler Jackson and Tavon Jackson both of Santa Clarita, California; along with many other relatives and a host of friends that were like family as well.
John's memorial services will be held Friday, June 8th, 2018, 3:00pm at Hope Chapel, 6015 W. Ave. J-8, Lancaster, California, with a light reception immediately to follow.
Funeral services were entrusted with Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, Oklahoma.
