Background
Thank you so much for everyone's support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, we'd appreciate any contributions to be a donation that we will direct towards a scholarship fund in John’s honor. Ultimately, we desire to create a scholarship that will be awarded to a male high school senior who will attend an HBCU. John was committed to mentoring youth and providing lessons and opportunities for their future development. One of his goals was to write a book that would be entitled, "The Lessons I Never Learned". It was also his hearts desire to aid in the military career advancement of young officers. He did this by making himself available to share information and guidance.
