I consider John a wonderful friend. He accepted my son Andy as a very good friend when he married Whitney. John was selfless and did so much for others without a second thought. He loved his family fiercely and just wanted to provide the best life for all of them. He loved his mom, daughter, son, son in law, and daughter in law with all his heart for all his life. Not to mention his grandkids! He was the best Papa!

He made me feel like family and I will miss him so very much.

I only had the pleasure of meeting John a couple of times when he, Angie and Owen came to visit us in Florida and then again when I went to St. Louis to see my great granddaughter. I was so happy Angie had found such a great guy. He definitely will be missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. My condolences and prayers go out to his family and friends.

Im not sure how to even take this. You were always such a good coach and person to everyone around you i hope you feel like you lived your life to the fullest and have no regrets!!!! R.i.p coach you will be missed ....

I worked with John for 3-4 years in the early  90s. He was a great apprentice and I’m sure went on to be a great wireman. I am certainly shocked by his passing. Blessings to his wonderful family.

What a Beautifully written tribute to his life. I didn’t know John for very long but it was clear even in the short time I did know him, what a great guy he was. It was also evident how much he loved his family, the lake and spending time with friends and more recently how much he adored and loved Angie. John was always smiling and just brought a special light to wherever he was. He’ll be so missed. My deepest sympathies.
