Mr. John Mark Anderson
Background
John Mark Anderson received crucial spiritual, emotional, mental, as well as physical support from the Men's Teen Challenge Center in Oakland as well as the Family Center in San Jose during in his long struggle against alcohol and nicotine addiction. After graduating a one-year course, he became part of the staff as a counselor and an encouraging friend to those in similar battles. He used his musical gifts to accompany the choir on the keyboard and helped fundraise for the organization. Mark was part of a large Teen Challenge delegation that headed down to help administer relief following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. He helped inspire many in their life struggles and pointed them towards the love and delivering power of the Lord Jesus Christ.
