John was a wonderful father, brother, and uncle who proudly served our country as a member of the United States Marine Corps. He was a math and science guru, who meticulously recorded sports data. He was determined about reaching fitness goals and pushing the limits. He was a passionate Boston Red Sox fan who enjoyed meeting other fans via social media groups. John was most proud of his daughter Chelsea Lynne. He was her biggest cheerleader and sounding board. He loved calling her on FaceTime and would spend hours talking about anything she wanted to talk about. He loved sharing photos of his granddog Chubbie and always sent him Boston Red Sox gear despite the fact that his daughter is a Houston Astros fan! His presence in her life will be dearly missed.
