Beloved husband and father, John Harrington MacConaghy, died of cardiac arrest on March 22, 2023. He was 69.
Born in San Francisco, John set his own path after graduating from St. Ignatius H.S. in 1971. Prior to graduating UC Berkeley in 1974, he took a year off from college to join the Royal Lichtenstein Quarter-Ring Sidewalk Circus, driving cross-country in a Pontiac station wagon, juggling, performing vaudeville, and crafting stories that made audiences laugh.
