John George “Johnnie” Loff

October 7, 1960 – June 14, 2025

John George Loff, lovingly known as Johnnie, passed away on June 14, 2025, in Lincoln, California, at the age of 64. Born in Vero Beach, Florida, Johnnie was the youngest of seven children and lived a life defined by faith, hard work, and deep love for his family.

A skilled carpenter by trade, Johnnie could build or fix just about anything — from cars and plumbing to electrical systems and beyond. He had a passion for problem-solving and was known for reading the owner’s manual of every new item he bought — often while relaxing on the potty, much to his family’s amusement.

Johnnie is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Michelle Loff; his daughter, Erica Loff; and his sisters Connie Barney, Mary Monjar, and Helen Ortiz. He was a man of strong faith, a child of God, and someone who made others feel truly seen and heard — often without needing to say a word.

He had a wonderful sense of humor and could talk your ear off once he got to know you. His greatest joy was in loving his family and helping others, always working harder than anyone around him.

There are no current plans for a service at this time.

Johnnie’s legacy of love, laughter, and quiet strength will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
