In loving memory of John Settle, lover of life and the open water, fishing and hunting. Family comes in all shapes and sizes. John had a huge family including many friends who he enjoyed great times, rallying on their bikes at annual Bike Week, spending time on Rehoboth Bay on the boat, or feasting on crabs in their backyard. He was forever smitten and in love with his wife Becki, at first glance!
A 1980 graduate of Robert E. Peary High School, John grew up in Rockville, MD as the son of Donald and Shirley Settle. He grew up in an adventurous household, who would take trips around the country camping and spend weekends at their mountain cabin in PA. He served in the Army Reserves, and called to Active Duty in Desert Storm. John retired from the Montgomery County Public School System after 39 years.
John (also known as Papa John) leaves behind his wife Rebecca (Becki), his daughter.
