It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. John Murphy on this day August 21st 2023. John was born October 5, 1939. A man of integrity and kindness, John led a life distinguished by his love for his family and his dedication to his 36 years of work at O'Hare International Airport. He embodied the spirit of a Fisherman. Throwing a Line In at Shabbonna Lake State Park, IL for 20 years and at Canyon Lake Lodge, Ontario Canada . John was the Mower and the Plow Man. Loved his horses Scout and Trinity. John loved his dogs Bullet and Honey Bear and his cats Tuxedo and Trouble. His memories will be cherished and kept alive by his loving wife, Peggy Murphy. John Murphy is survived by his wife Peggy; his Sister Ellen and Brother in Law Chuck Asaro, brother Edmund Murphy; Brother Tim and Sister in Law Carol Murphy; and Brother Daniel Murphy and many nieces and nephews.  John's legacy of love, hard work, and devotion will always mark the hearts of those who were fortunate to have known him. He will be deeply missed.
