John E. Ksiezopolski Sr. 71, of Toms River died suddenly on Wednesday, June 26, 2019. Born in Germany, he lived for 35 years in Westfield before moving to Point Pleasant last year. He started with American Can, and then was employed for 15 years as a maintenance mechanic for the Pepsi Corporation, in Piscataway, NJ. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, and served his country in the Vietnam War attaining the rank of Corporal. He was a Life Member of the VFW, Post #845, Westfield. He loved sports, but his favorite hobby was his kids and grandkids. He is predeceased by his 2 sisters, Sophie Kominek and Christine Lamdry. Surviving is his loving wife of 48 years, Alita Ksiezopolski, his beloved daughter Ginny Tunnley, and her husband Tom Tunnley of Ephrata, PA and his son John E. Jr. and his wife Jessie Ksiezopolski of Toms River, 2 brothers, Ted and Eddie Ksiezopolski, and 7 cherished grandchildren; Alex, Ashley, Andrew, Grace, Addy, Connor and Tristan. There were also numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and pop and will be greatly missed by his family. A private Celebration of Life will be held for immediate family and friends, July 21th 2019.
