John C. Keelan, 59, of Waltham passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022, after a long illness.

John was born on July 15, 1963 to Richard F. Keelan, Jr. and Patricia A. Callahan. After John graduated from Weymouth High School in 1981, he received a full track and field scholarship to the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he went on to study English.

In 1986, John kickstarted his 30+ year career in sales. John was a Boston sports enthusiast. John was legendary for his sense of humor and storytelling. He is survived by his four children, Meghan (Harvey), Shannon, Jack, and Grace along with his three grandchildren Adrian, Ivory, and August, as well as nieces, nephews and seven siblings: Michael, Thomas, Ellen (Angley), Mark, Daniel, Sheila (Donovan) and Richard. He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Patricia.
