John and I became close friends in 6th grade after he had moved to Ohio from Michigan. John was a HUGE influence on me growing up and we spent a lot of time together as he lived just around the corner from me. He got me into the music I still listen to, we went to concerts all the time, we had delusions of joining the high school hockey team and would go skating almost every weekend in the winter. We played pool and blackjack in his basement, had many chats with his dad about what we would do with our lives after h.s.
We may have lost touch a bit in adulthood, but we also had similar big life moments, We got married around the same time to very similar women. We also got covid at the exact same time. Unfortunately, I'm writing this for him. To his family, I'm very sorry for your loss. You all played a big, important part of my childhood that will live with me forever. To his sisters, I still have the punk mix tapes he let me have out of your stash! Thanks for the music and the Young Ones!! I still listen to it and the Misfits and Ramones are my favorites! Love, Christopher

John and I met in high school . We had so much fun and so many inside jokes no one would understand but us. Those jokes continued over the years as we always kept in contact. John continued to make me laugh 25 years later when the high school jokes we had continued . I will miss your messages and voice recordings about Mrs. Miller and all of our high school teachers . Don’t worry John I’m still getting D’s in all my classes and always will .😂 I’m a nice gal too bad I smoke .😂. Love you always , Kelly . ❤️

I can remember the first time meeting John he was my brother best friend and believe me they were on inseparable. And once he met me from day one considered me his little brother. Me and John did a lot over the years and both back in the day loved WWE. One year WWE was coming to Cleveland for a pay per view called Invasion and got us tickets to go. We sat on the floor and it was such an awesome time. Even got to keep our chairs we sat on. To this day 20 years later I still have that chair. Love you Big Brother life won’t be the same without you.
