Shellye and I were never fortunate enough to meet this exceptional man, but I know from JK's proud Dad posts that he and Alex had a deep loving father & son connection and that he was beyond proud of Alex. I wish we had met him. Love to you and your Family JK.

I just found out about your loss and my prayers go out to your family!  I was Alex’ AP Seminar teacher and he was also the recipient of a scholarship in my Mother’s honor.  He was such an amazing kid and it sounds like he was becoming a man who was going to change the world for the better. My deepest condolences!!
