John Hill Huffman, age 60, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2019. Born to Estel “Bill” and Patsy Ann (Hill) Huffman of Mattoon, IL on September 29, 1958. He married Debra Sue O’Dell on December 27, 1980 in Mattoon, IL. He is survived by his loving wife Debra of 38 years who resides in Cape Coral, Florida; his wonderful brother Bill Huffman and wife Connie of Lake Mattoon, and sister Sandra Huffman of Mattoon, IL; his marvelous children, Brian Huffman and wife Kristin of St. Louis, Missouri, and Sara Huffman of Cape Coral, Florida; two beautiful grandchildren, Alexander Huffman and Iris Huffman, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his devoted parents.
John began his career in 1989 at Tri City Electric in Altamonte Springs, FL. After he completed his Bachelors degree in business at University of Central Florida, he became an estimator for Lee Deering Electric, Inc. before serving as project manager for Schneider Electric, Guarantee Electrical Construction in St. Louis, MO and MC Dean, Inc. Retiring in Cape Coral, FL with the love of his life, Debbie, in their paradise.
