John Hayward Gibson was born February 5th, 1952 in Billings, MT. John lived an adventurous life until the age of 70 years old when he passed just a couple weeks shy of his 71st birthday. He resided in Hawthorne, NJ for the last decade and worked in Secaucus at National Packaging services where he was employed for about 35 years. When he was 3 years old he moved Granada Hills, CA. In high school he was named First Team  All City - Los Angeles for basketball. He was voted the high schools MVP and once scored 40 points in a game. He briefly attended Sonoma State University on a basketball scholarship. Eventually he met Shelly Gail Lightman in Santa Monica, CA and moved to the suburbs of Philadelphia in the late 19070's. They had two children together, Joshua Wynn and Zachary Troy Gibson who both now reside in California. John Gibson passed on January 24th just after midnight. 

To honor John’s memory, we are holding a celebration of his life on February 26th 2023 at The Brick House. We invite anyone who knew John to attend and remember his wonderful life from 1-4pm. Please rsvp on this site.
